Aircraft, dentures or watches? With its versatile properties, titanium meets the needs of a wide variety of applications. High strength, ability to withstand strong acids, relatively low weight and the fact that it’s not allergenic are some of them.
Invex delivers titanium from warehouses and plants in both commercially pure and alloyed form. We have good, long-term relationships with manufacturers and other business partners worldwide. This enables us to quickly bring in materials that we ourselves may not have in stock.
Titanium is used in aerospace technology and the chemical, oil and gas industry, as well as in medical technology. Titanium is corrosion resistant, lightweight and has good strength properties.
Excellent corrosion resistance and resistant to e.g. salt water.
Non alloyed, non-magnetic
Tensile strength at least 240, good malleability.
Density 4.5g/cmᵌ.
Used in: chemical industry, marine, medicine, defence, process industry, heat exchangers, desalination plants.
Stocked as plate/sheet/coils according to ASTM B265 +F67, ISO 5832–2, ASME SB-265.

<120
Commercially pure titanium used extensively in the chemical industry.
Tensile strength up to approx. 450 MPa.
Good weldability, strength and ductility/malleability and corrosion resistance make the alloy an excellent choice in a range of areas.
Both Grade 1 and Grade 2 have similar corrosion properties, but Grade 2 has slightly higher mechanical values.
Used in: Heat exchangers, medical industry, aerospace, processing, power production, chemical industry, chlorate production and in architecture.
Delivered as bar/plate/sheet.

<150
High mechanical values, good corrosion resistance and malleability.
Used extensively in medical technology.
Delivered according to ASTMF67, ISO 5832–2, ASTM B265.
Used in: Implants, surgical instruments, heat exchangers.
Delivered as bar/plate/sheet.

Alloyed titanium, containing 6% aluminium and 4% vanadium.
The most widely used alloyed titanium product. Can be used in welded constructions and can withstand up to 600°F/315°C.
Light weight/high strength, good malleability and good corrosion resistance.
The alloy can be heat treated to raise its mechanical values.
Used in: aerospace/defence, marine, medical, chemical industry, oil & gas, medical technology, aerospace/defence, galvanising equipment.
Delivered as bar/plate/sheet.
